My Best Friend's Closet

Hey there friends! Been a lil' minute. Hope you've all been in high spirits.  

Well, let me begin by saying Happy November! I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, how is it MID-NOVEMBER?! Wasn't it just Summertime? Even though I'm already missing the warmer temps, I gotta admit November always reminds me to slow down and be thankful. Gratitude and Positive Thinking are key elements. I may not have everything I want, but I have everything I need, and for that I give all thanks to God. 

I am a very blessed woman. I consider my lifelong friendships to be one of my life's biggest blessings. I suppose it's more like Sisterhood at this point in life💗. Which leads me to another segment of My Best Friend's Closet. 

Once again, Essy let me play in her closet and style her up! They say "do something you Love and you'll never work another day in your life" (or something along those lines), and for me playing dress up hardly feels like I'm working! It's a chance to exercise the creative side of my brain with the added bonus of spending quality time with my bestie! Is there anything better? The vibe for this style-sesh was "Chill". Esence was headed to work and wasn't feelin' it LOL! With that being said, I opted for a more comfortable look without compromising Fashion. I paired simple black joggers with a statement t-shirt (how cute are the sequin sleeves?!) and then accessorized with a cool vintage sequin beanie, clear eyeglasses, chunky jumbo hoop earrings and brought it home with a beat-up pair of converse sneakers. It was a smorgasbord of high-low pieces that rounded out the entire look. Essy rocked this style effortlessly...per usual💣

FashionAly Fangirling: Quinta Brunson

Hey peeps! How's it goin in your world? The first time I saw Quinta Brunson was while watching "A Black Lady Sketch Show" on HBO when it premiered season one. Shortly after I saw Quinta on her hit ABC series "Abbott Elementary". Both shows are delightful, and if you haven't heard of either you must be living under a rock! Just sayin. Seriously though, Abbott Elementary is one of my favorite shows these days. Like everyone else in the world I am anxiously awaiting season two. I get that classic feel-good vibe while watching. The same vibe I used to get while watching T.G.I.F shows back in the day. If you don't know, T.G.I.F - 'Thank God it's Friday' premiered back in the 90's on ABC.
