First Time At NYFW!!

Hello peoples, how the heck are ya?? So as most of you fashion obsessed individuals know New York Fashion Week just wrapped here in the city! I've been obsessed with Fashion Week since before I can remember, but like most people I had to live it through T.V. and magazines...that is until this year eeekkkk!!!! So my good girlfriend JoAnna De'Shay (Fashion Designer & Owner of Black Russian Label) made an appearance for Fashion Week & granted me the tremendous honor of being her date for events. Talk about a surreal out of body experience! It was honestly a dream come true!! And the best part is its just the beginning!!! From Fashion Night Out-to celebrities- to actual fashion shows with backstage access words cannot describe how amazing my week was!!! GOD is good!!!! I honestly owe JoAnna EVERYTHING right now LOL!!! I've posted some pics from the events below...take a peek! : )

Hello beautiful people! Happy Holidays! oh, December. such a special month. symbolizing the end of another year. FashionAly Fangirling: Quinta Brunson

Hey peeps! How's it goin in your world? The first time I saw Quinta Brunson was while watching "A Black Lady Sketch Show" on HBO when it premiered season one. Shortly after I saw Quinta on her hit ABC series "Abbott Elementary". Both shows are delightful, and if you haven't heard of either you must be living under a rock! Just sayin. Seriously though, Abbott Elementary is one of my favorite shows these days. Like everyone else in the world I am anxiously awaiting season two. I get that classic feel-good vibe while watching. The same vibe I used to get while watching T.G.I.F shows back in the day. If you don't know, T.G.I.F - 'Thank God it's Friday' premiered back in the 90's on ABC. It was a weekly Friday night lineup of about 4 feel-good tv shows. *Trying hard not to age myself* I must humbly say, they just don't make 'em like that anymore. My Best Friend's Closet

Hey there friends! Been a lil' minute. Hope you've all been in high spirits.   Well, let me begin by saying Happy November! I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, how is it MID-NOVEMBER?! Wasn't it just Summertime? Even though I'm already missing the warmer temps, I gotta admit November always reminds me to slow down and be thankful. Gratitude and Positive Thinking are key elements. I may not have everything I want, but I have everything I need, and for that I give all thanks to God.  I am a very blessed woman. I consider my lifelong friendships to be one of my life's biggest blessings. I suppose it's more like Sisterhood at this point in life💗.
