Met Gala 2013!

Praise God for the Annual Met Gala!!! Seriously, I DIE for this event! One of my BIGGEST dreams is to be invited...and it's going to come true one day!!! Don't believe me? Just watch! I get a kick out of watching all of Hollywood's biggest names show up & show out! This is the one event where you can really push the envelope when it comes to fashion! Like seriously, who wouldn't want to rock out like Carrie Bradshaw for the night?? Unfortunately, I did see a lot of downers on the carpet last night. Like I don't get why you'd show up dressed like you're going to dinner with your girls when this is a costume ball...WTF!!! Luckily, these clowns didn't stop the show! There were many shining stars that kept the flavor and reputation of the Met Gala strong! Black & white was a strong duo last night, as well as just solid black looks. You can never go wrong with black, however I was happy to see bold prints and colors hit the carpet. I'm OBSESSED with Gold, and I saw several gold numbers that made my heart flutter. All Gold EVERYTHING!!!!  My favorite looks are below in no particular order. But I will say that my girl J.Lo did her thang (as usual)!!!! And Anne Hathaway honey, is everything!!!!! Tell me what you guys think! : )

FashionAly Fangirling: Quinta Brunson

Hey peeps! How's it goin in your world? The first time I saw Quinta Brunson was while watching "A Black Lady Sketch Show" on HBO when it premiered season one. Shortly after I saw Quinta on her hit ABC series "Abbott Elementary". Both shows are delightful, and if you haven't heard of either you must be living under a rock! Just sayin. Seriously though, Abbott Elementary is one of my favorite shows these days. Like everyone else in the world I am anxiously awaiting season two. I get that classic feel-good vibe while watching. The same vibe I used to get while watching T.G.I.F shows back in the day. If you don't know, T.G.I.F - 'Thank God it's Friday' premiered back in the 90's on ABC. My Best Friend's Closet

Hey there friends! Been a lil' minute. Hope you've all been in high spirits.   Well, let me begin by saying Happy November! I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, how is it MID-NOVEMBER?! Wasn't it just Summertime? Even though I'm already missing the warmer temps, I gotta admit November always reminds me to slow down and be thankful. Gratitude and Positive Thinking are key elements. I may not have everything I want, but I have everything I need, and for that I give all thanks to God.  I am a very blessed woman. I consider my lifelong friendships to be one of my life's biggest blessings. I suppose it's more like Sisterhood at this point in life💗.
