NYFW Meets Storm Nemo!

It's that time again...Fashion Week Wooohoooooo!!! Fashion week is every girls dream...well at least it's always been mine. Except in my dream I never envisioned there being a blizzard LOL! Nevertheless I had to suck it up, put on my Carrie Bradshaw panties, and show the storm who was boss! I had such an amazing time with my good friend, JoAnna! We attended the AOA show, and the Elizabeth Smith show. Both were packed with extraordinary fashion! There was so much use of bold color that I was speechless. As you guys probably know by now color is my world! I'm also a lover of fur (sorry PETA), and there were so many fun and creative fur fashions! My pics aren't the clearest, but they get the point across...so take a peek! : )

FashionAly Fangirling: Quinta Brunson

Hey peeps! How's it goin in your world? The first time I saw Quinta Brunson was while watching "A Black Lady Sketch Show" on HBO when it premiered season one. Shortly after I saw Quinta on her hit ABC series "Abbott Elementary". Both shows are delightful, and if you haven't heard of either you must be living under a rock! Just sayin. Seriously though, Abbott Elementary is one of my favorite shows these days. Like everyone else in the world I am anxiously awaiting season two. I get that classic feel-good vibe while watching. The same vibe I used to get while watching T.G.I.F shows back in the day. If you don't know, T.G.I.F - 'Thank God it's Friday' premiered back in the 90's on ABC. My Best Friend's Closet

Hey there friends! Been a lil' minute. Hope you've all been in high spirits.   Well, let me begin by saying Happy November! I know I sound like a broken record, but honestly, how is it MID-NOVEMBER?! Wasn't it just Summertime? Even though I'm already missing the warmer temps, I gotta admit November always reminds me to slow down and be thankful. Gratitude and Positive Thinking are key elements. I may not have everything I want, but I have everything I need, and for that I give all thanks to God.  I am a very blessed woman. I consider my lifelong friendships to be one of my life's biggest blessings. I suppose it's more like Sisterhood at this point in life💗.
