Stop Doubting Your Greatness

Hi Friends! Hope you are thriving!

I am literally sitting here wishing time would slow down...I mean it's practically mid-September...how did this happen? It's definitely a reminder that time is precious, and we have to make the most out of this life. I can sometimes find it challenging to remain present in each season. Take Summer for instance - it's one of my favorite times of year, but towards the end I find myself trying to refrain from going full pumpkin spice everything LOL! Once August comes to an end I'm mentally on to the next...Fall! Which also happens to be one of my favorite times of year, but for different reasons. For me Fall represents change. reflection. newness. love & warmth. crisp air & cozy nights. new books & self-discovery. So many feels. As the seasons currently transition I find myself in the same rotation. I am ever-changing (which is okay!). I don't have all the answers to my future figured out just yet. But I do know one thing - there is a fire deep inside of me and it is time for me to stop doubting My Greatness!

My Greatness. Your Greatness. Our Greatness. I believe God gave us all a lil' somethin' somethin' when he made us in His image. Believing this to be true, I still find it difficult to tap into my greatness - which honestly is most frustrating because I'm aware! But thank God for Friends. Friends who encourage you...Friends who see your potential when you don't see it yourself. A little while ago my best friend Chariti gifted me a book titled "You Are a BADASS: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living An Awesome Life" by Jen Sincero (see below). I can't even front, I opened it maybe twice, but it started collecting dust soon after. I recently came across it on my desk and decided to re-open it. I'm happy I did. Because I'm only a few chapters in and this book is already connecting with my soul! The author is an open book (pun intended 😉) about her past experiences. Her life coach style seems to stem from an authentic place of tough love, reflection, and accountability - which leaves the reader thinking and feeling deeper. However, I must warn you, this book ain't for the weak! It will condemn you and hold you accountable. But in my most humble opinion - if it doesn't shake you up, is it even worth it?

For my friends reading this post that are in similar situations where you are doubting/questioning yourself and in search of your greatness I encourage you to pick up this book. Just give it a try. What have you got to lose? I know Amazon sells it for about $8 or so. You can also check for it at resale book shops or even your local old-school library :) If you end up purchasing let me know your thoughts & feelings & all that good stuff!
